When it comes to sturdy fruits like cucumber, apple, and string beans, rub them with your natural-based cleanser under running water until it’s free from grease and dirt.
4. Soft Fruits and Vegetables
Soak soft fruits and vegetables like tomatoes and berries in a large bowl containing a mixture of water and a drop of natural-based cleanser for 1 minute. Afterwards, gently massage ensuring that the fruits don’t get bruised while all sides are cleansed. Rinse and repeat until the water clears up.
Rinsing with water and a natural wash is more preferable and safe over washing with just water. A natural wash that is mild and non-toxic is especially important since its residues can be consumed by you and your baby. We recommend going for natural cleansers that have edible formula. When it comes to the objects your baby comes into contact with, it’s important to also make sure that the products you use to clean these objects are safe.
